mates and self mates
mates and self mates are digital playmates.
they are attempts to inflate a singular event in dozens.
none of the resulting settings would be possible as shown, but each detail was photographed exactly this way.
because one will not instantly recognize them as photomontages, "schmerz" (pain) and "wassermann" (aquarius) raise the question of "how you did it" and where the obvious manipulation comes from.
for each work i took picture series between 30 and several hundred digital photographs, of which i then used about 10 to 20 per cent. |
